Pastor Jackie M. Lewis is a charismatic leader, visionary, and provocative thinker, who serves as Sr. Pastor of WordUp Empowerment. He is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience serving faith-based organizations.  Pastor Lewis has always had a fervent desire to serve God. Shortly after hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, Pastor Lewis was called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. For personal and spiritual growth, he has participated in numerous seminars. He has served as a visiting minister at numerous congregations within the Shreveport / Bossier, Ark-La-Tex as well as in the state of Texas.

 

In March of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced houses of worship to close their doors and provide services online in new, engaging ways. During this time, Pastor Lewis established WordUp Empowerment, an online ministry that reaches more than 2,000 listeners per week. Under Pastor Lewis’ guidance, WordUp Empowerment is one of the fastest growing online ministries.
